Behind the Samosa

At the bottom of it all I’m just a girl trying to navigate my very particular, not-so-average life.

But to be specific: I’m a 30-something, a desi, a feminist, a professional writer, a mom of two, and a wife of one. I have other identities and labels I attach to myself but an exhaustive list would be cumbersome, and these are the only ones that feel important enough to list right now.

This blog is a confessional. It’s brutally honest, full of truth, and deeply personal. For this last reason, comments will be heavily moderated.

The name was chosen when I was feeling happier, more whimsical. 🙂 I just wrote a first, very black little post… let’s see if I can get back to my usual spirits as time goes by?
